ကျွန်ုပ်တို့သည်  မြန်မာနိုင်ငံရှိ လူ့အခွင့်အရေးဆိုင်ရာအဖွဲ့အစည်းများမှ ကိုယ်စားပြုသူများအနေဖြင့် စစ်တပ်၏ အာဏာသိမ်းသည့် ကိစ္စရပ်အပေါ်  ပြင်းပြင်းထန်ထန် ကန့်ကွက်ရှုံ့ချ လိုက်သည်။ ဥပဒေပြုရေး၊ အုပ်ချုပ်ရေးနှင့် တရားစီရင်ရေး တို့ အားလုံးအား စစ်တပ်၏ သိမ်းယူမှုအပေါ် ရှုံ့ချကန့်ကွက်ပါသည်။

ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ မြန်မာပြည်သူပြည်သား များအနေဖြင့် ဒီမိုက‌ရေစီ၊ လွတ်လပ်မှု ၊ ငြိမ်းချမ်းရေး၊ တရားမျှတမှု၊ လူ့အခွင့်အရေး နှင့် ဖွံဖြိုးတိုးတက်မှုအတွက် မိမိတို့၏လိုအင်များကို ထပ်ခါထပ်ခါ ဖော်ထုတ်ပြသခဲ့ပြီး ဖြစ်သည်။ ၂၀၂၀ပြည့်နှစ်  နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၈ ရက် အထွေထွေရွေးကောက်ပွဲ၌ အမျိုးသားဒီမိုကရေစီအဖွဲ့ချုပ်မှ အနိုင်ရရှိခဲ့ပြီး ပြည်တွင်းပြည်ပလေ့လာသုံးသပ်ကြသူများသည်ပင် လွတ်လပ်၍မျှတသောရွေးကောက်ပွဲဟု အတည်ပြုသတ်မှတ်ပေးခဲ့ပြီးလည်း ဖြစ်သည်။ ကျွန်ုပ်တို့ မြန်မာပြည်သူများအနေဖြင့် အာဏာရှင်စနစ် ၊ ပဋိပက္ခနှင့် ယုတ်လျော့ကျဆင်းမှု များ တဖန်ပြန်လည်ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာမည်ကို (လုံးဝ) မလိုလားပေ။ 

သို့ပါသောကြောင့် စစ်တပ်အနေဖြင့် အောက်ပါ အချက်များကို ချက်ချင်း ဆောင်ရွက်ရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့က တိုက်တွန်းလိုက်သည်။

၁။   ရွေးကောက်ပွဲရလဒ်များကို လေးစားလိုက်နာရန်၊

၂။   ထိန်းသိမ်းခံထားရသူအားလုံးကို ခြွင်းချက်မရှိ ပြန်လွှတ်ပေးရန်၊

၃။     ဆန္ဒပြသူများ အပါအဝင် မယိမ်းယိုင်သွားဘဲ လွှတ်တော်ခေါ်ရန် ပြတ်ပြတ်သားသား ဆုံးဖြတ်ထား သည့် လွှတ်တော်ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များအား အကြမ်းဖက်သည့် လုပ်ရပ်များ အားလုံးကို ရှောင်ကြဉ်ရန်၊

၄။    အင်တာနက် ဆက်သွယ်ရေးလိုင်းများအား အပြည့်အဝ ပြန်လည်ပေးအပ်ရန်နှင့် ထိန်းသိမ်းထားရန်၊

၅။   ရွေးကောက်ခံလွှတ်တော် ကိုယ်စားလှယ်များနှင့် အစိုးရအား အာဏာ ပြန်လည်အပ်နှင်းရန်။

ထို့အပြင် တရုတ် ၊ ရုရှားနှင့် အိမ်နီးချင်း အာဆီယံ နိုင်ငံများမှ အစိုးရများ အပါအဝင် နိုင်ငံတကာ အသိုင်းအဝိုင်းကိုလည်း အောက်ပါအချက်များကို ဆောင်ရွက်ပေးပါရန် ကျွန်ုပ်တို့က တိုက်တွန်းလိုက်ပါသည်။

၁။     အာဏာသိမ်းမှုကို ခြွင်းချက်မရှိ ကန့်ကွက်ရှုံ့ချရန်၊

၂။    ၂၀၂၀ပြည့်နှစ်  နိုဝင်ဘာလ ၈ ရက် တွင် ရွေးကောက်တင်မြောက်ခဲ့သည့် လူထုအစိုးရနှင့် လွှတ်တော်တို့ကို ပြန်လည်ဖော်ဆောင်ရာတွင် ကူညီပံ့ပိုးပေးရန်၊

၃။     စစ်တပ်နှင့် ပူးပေါင်းဆောင်ရွက်မှုများနှင့် ၄င်းအား အထောက်အပံ့ဖြစ်စေသည့် 

         အရာများအားလုံးကို  ရပ်တန့်ရန်၊ 

၄။     အာဏာသိမ်းကာလအတွင်း အန္တရာယ်ကျရောက်နိုင်သူများအား ထောက်ပံ့ကူညီရန်၊

We, representatives of Myanmar human rights organisations, condemn the military coup in the strongest terms. We condemn the military’s seizure of all legislative, executive, and judicial powers.

We Myanmar people have repeatedly demonstrated our desire for democracy, freedom, peace, justice, human rights, and development. The National League for Democracy won the 8 November 2020 General Elections, which were confirmed as free and fair by many national and international observers. We Myanmar people do not want a return to dictatorship, conflict, and decline.

We call on the military to immediately:

1. Respect the election results,
2. Unconditionally release all those detained, 
3. Refrain from all acts of violence, including against protesters and resolute MPs.
4. Restore and maintain full internet connectivity, and
5. Return power to the elected parliament and government.

We also call on the international community – including the governments of China, Russia, and our ASEAN neighbours – to:

1. Unconditionally condemn the coup, 
2. Support the restoration of the government and parliament elected on 8 November 2020,
3. Stop all cooperation with and assistance to the military, and
4. Support those at risk during the coup.
